Product Description

The Ergodyne Standard support belt supports the lower back and abdomen of a person working in an upright position or performing lifting tasks. The support belt has adjustable braces and, thanks to the elastic fabric, easily adapts to the wearer’s body and allows for comfortable movement.
The standard ProFlex 1600 backrest is designed to remind workers of proper lifting techniques. It has a fully elastic 23cm body for extra firm support.

SIZE DETERMINATION
To choose the size, use a flexible measuring tape and measure the waist from the belly button. The support should fit snugly around the hips with the front two finger widths below the navel. The easy-to-use clasp keeps the belt securely in place during use and can be worn over or under clothing. Adjust the brace straps so that they sit securely on your shoulders without causing tension. The suspenders can be removed from the belt if desired.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
ProFlex backrests provide support for the lower back and abdomen for lifting heavy objects. Tightening the backrest belt increases the body’s internal pressure and takes stress away from the spine. When the backrest is installed correctly, the worker has additional support for lifting and is more likely to use the correct posture.

TO WHOM?
The support belt is great for airport baggage handlers, warehouse/distribution workers, material handlers, construction crews, assembly/fabrication, landscaping/sites and jobs that require heavy lifting.

NB. We cannot guarantee that wearing a back brace will prevent an occupational injury or cure lower back pain. When used correctly, the supports provide additional lumbar support, encourage correct lifting techniques and help you during the workday by reducing the load on your back.
